This pair of Indonesian Lombok woven baskets have wood on the bottom as well as the lid. On each lid there are 2 carved turtles facing away from one another.  Both lids fit securely. The basket weave is delicate and the uniqueness of each piece is evidenced in the variation of the carvings on the lids. These would be beautiful to display or use as jewely boxes or for other keepsakes. Each basket measures: 6.5" W x 2" H. On the bottom of one basket there are a couple loose weaves. Otherwise these baskets are in very good vintage condition. Please view all photos for more details.
