Steuben Glass produced notable crystal in Corning, NY from 1903-2011. It is known for its luxurious weight, sophisticated hand-cut flutings and striking silhouettes. This pattern 7926 is reminiscent of 18th Century glass used in Colonial Williamsburg. It features a squarish bowl and a baluster knob stem with a captured teardrop bubble. It was designed by George Thompson. The pieces are hand-blown and vary slightly in ht. and diameter. Each is signed "Steuben" via etching on the bottom. Very good condition - no chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. Tiny superficial scratches consistent with normal wear on the bottoms of 2 bases. The goblets are clear with a beautiful fire. This discontinued piece is currently listed at replacements.com for $179.95 each. Please see all photos for additional details. Dimensions: approximately 6.5" tall x 3.5" diameter (handblown glass varies slightly)
