American artist Nancy Noel May (b. 1953) created this oil-on-board work in 2002. It features a summer scene of two burgundy adirondack chairs on a blue deck, with colorful cabins behind. Titled "Days End", signed on the back and dated 2002. The small piece is stunningly framed in a wide gilt wood frame with a band of carved detail. Bracket on back to hang by. Excellent condition - The 4" wide gilt frame is elegant with no noted chips or cracks. The painting is delicate and colorful. Refreshing! About the artist: Nancy Noel May (b. 1953) is known as an impressionistic painter of color and light. She currently lives in Wilmington, NC.
