Unsigned original oil painting of naked trees along a wintery lane, with impasto flourishes and glints of reflective silver along the tree trunks. The hazy winter scene is suffused with tawny earth tones, hints of sage, soft grays, cream and white. Its broad, faux-distressed wood frame is light and has a bleached, blue-green cast to complement the whole. The back dust cover comes away in one corner to reveal the canvas affixes to a wood frame. The frame measures 47.5" W x 36" H x 1.75" D with a 41" x 29.5" image area.
