Framed original ink drawing of a seated woman In a flounced dress, signed and dated '64 in ink by Canadian artist Carol Hoorn Fraser 1930-1991). Fraser was born in Superior, Wisconsin, and studied art at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. Her work leaned toward Surrealism later and is memorialized by her husband at the site jottings.ca. This study's black wood frame has a gold painted inner border with a couple of marks. The art surface shows some tanning, especially around the corners and edges, and the cream matting has a smudge on the right and a few dots on the left. Frame is 17" W x 18" H x . 5" D, with an 11" x 14" image area.
