This TRU Giclee print, signed by the artist Robert Cook, is entitled Moody Blues. It is numbered #49 of 195. On a textured canvas, a blackened sky lightens to deep teal, then to turquoise toward the horizon. Below it, a vast persimmon and mustard-colored field leads to a darkened grove of trees in the distance. Embellished with a raised gold line at the horizon. This unframed piece measures: 30" w x40" h. The work is signed in yellow paint on the front and signed and numbered in marker on the back. There is a wire for hanging on the back. A Cerificate of Authenticity is attached to the back dated 12/13/04. Condition: Good used condition. The piece is vibrant in color with a small amount of wear in the lower corners on the front surface, and a very small scuff on the left border. The canvas is not tightly stretched at the top and therefore there is a slight impression of the frame. There are no chips or other marks on the surface.  Robert Cook (b. 1948) is a self-taught painter who has been painting since 1989. Traditional landscapes and figurative works are often his subjects. He uses acrylics and layered glazing on textured canvas to produce an old world finish most would mistake for oils. Please view all photos for more details.
