This giclee reproduction on canvas by American artist Robert Cook is entitled Deja Blu, 2004.  It is a wide and vibrant image of an orange field with groups of trees in full bloom along the distant horizon. The sky above is an indigo that changes to a lighter blue toward the trees. It is printed on a textured canvas and signed in orange paint in the lower corner. There are "D" rings on the back through which a wire could be attached. The canvas print measures 48" wide x 24" tall. The gilded wood frame measures 52" wide x 28" tall x 2.5" deep. The piece is in very good condition - there are some very small chips on the frame which blend with its faux-age look. Robert Cook (b. 1948) is a self-taught painter who has been painting since 1989. Traditional landscapes and figurative works are often his subjects. He uses acrylics and layered glazing on textured canvas to produce an old world finish most would mistake for oils.
