This framed and signed print by artist Maynard Reece is entitiled Mountain Snow, 1980.   It is signed by the artist and numbered #281/ 950. The image is a winter mountain scene with skiiers careening through the pine trees under a clear blue sky. The art opening measures 24.75" wide x 18" tall. It is framed in a simple dark wood frame and double-matted in blue with a linen inset, and is under glass. There is a wire for hanging. The frame measures 34" wide x 28" tall x 1.5" deep.  The piece is in very good vintage condition - there are a couple tiny chips in the frame and there are some paint stains on the bottom of the frame, which would not be visible when hung. Maynard Fred Reece was an American artist based in Iowa whose work focused on wildlife, particularly ducks. He won the Federal Duck Stamp competition a record five times in his life: 1948, 1951, 1959, 1969 and 1971. Reece turned 100 in April 2020 and died in July of that year.
