It is signed by the artist on the front and the back of the painting, and is framed in a black slat frame. The piece is in very good vintage condition - frame has some scuffs consistent with age. The work measures 24.5" H x 12.5" W x 1.75" D. Please view all photos for more details. Raydor “Ray” Oakvick (American, 1917-1993) was an artist from Minneapolis, MN. He was active in the 1960s, and owned his own gallery where he sold his paintings. Primarily, Oakvick used a palette knife for his compositions, working quickly and with bold, gestural strokes to create pieces with depth and texture.
