This piece has a 14K yellow gold frame and solid back. The front has a cloisonné-type finish, forming a heart shape. On the back, the piece is etched with "gallen benson 1982 14K". The pendant weighs 2.4 g. and is 1/2" in diameter. Very good vintage condition. Please see all photos for additional details. About the Artist: Self-taught Minneapolis jeweler Gallen Benson has been making jewelry for more than 40 years. Made with intricate cloisonné, carving and enamel techniques, his work is held at The Smithsonian American Art Museum and many private collections.
