This smooth modernist style sterling silver pendant is a vintage piece from Turku, Finland, made in 1975. The piece is formed in a dimensional 3/4 circle, hollow inside but of good weight. A modernist bail is formed at the top of the piece, allowing a place for the leather cord to be strung through. The silver is stamped "Finland, 925", and has several Finnish hallmarks including a heart, the symbol for the town of Turku, "X7" for the year 1975, and the artist's symbol. The piece measures 2" in diameter and weighs 23.3 g. The leather cord is 36" long. Very good vintage condition - no deep scratches or dents. The patina of the silver is smooth and bears light superficial scratches consistant with typical wear. Please see all photos for additional details. Hand polished some tarnish remains.
