A female head and shoulders carving of Diana the Moon Goddess and Huntress, right facing cameo figure with a very translucent butterscotch-tone background is set in a patterned 10K yellow gold oval frame. Diana is wearing her traditional crescent moon in her hair. The cameo is bezel-set, and the top of the bezel has a beaded character. An exposed round of very tiny seed pearls encircles cameo. The piece has a straight pin with a locking mechanism on the reverse, as well as a hinged, pivoting "O" ring, to allow it to be a brooch or a pendant, respectively. Stamped "GLP, 10K". Very good antique condition - all dainty seed pearls are in place, the pin is straight and the closure locks. This oval is a delicate and artistic piece with a very translucent background.
