A hand-carved cameo of Diana the Huntress, pictured w/ a crescent moon in the hair and a bow at her side. Framed in a beautifully etched 14k gold frame. Tested positive for 14k gold. Diana is mostly ivory-tone with streaks of the light salmon background in the hair, gown and bow. The oval carving is very translucent and is set in a raised bezel setting w/ a decorated hexagonal surround in yellow gold. A pin w/ locking closure and a hinged, pivoting bail w/ "O" ring on the reverse allow for brooch or pendant use, respectively. Dimensions: 2" long x 1-5/8" wide. Weight: 17.5 g.
