1895 20 Francs French gold coin. Coveted for the luck it's said to bring its owner, France's magnificent Gold Angel was fashioned after the 1791 Guardian Angel of the French Revolution.  This version has the Guardian Angel Genius writing the constitution on a blank tablet and the reverse has the value and year surrounded by a wreath. The text reads LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE and REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE. Last struck in 1898, the supply of Gold French Angels is naturally fixed and limited in contrast to all modern bullion coins that are struck in large numbers annually.  Weight: 6.4 g  Fineness: 22k gold or .900 fine Measures: 21mm diameter Not professionally graded, however this coin is in very good antique condition with sharp/crisp details.
