This vintage signed Norwegian sterling Solje wedding brooch bears the hallmark of Askel Holmsen. It features three groups of dangling filigree ornaments bearing small vermeil spoons, affixed to a crown and heart frame. The piece is marked 830 S and has the Norwegian hallmark for Askel Holmsen. The brooch has a C clasp. It measures 2" W x 3" L and weighs 8.1 g. It is in very good vintage condition - one tiny spoon is missing. Please see all photos for more details.
