This unusual vintage model of an Ernest Borel Cocktail Series wristwatch has a modified square shape. The round metallic face is a deep blue-grey, with a signature rotating kaleidoscopic disk in the center. The hands are red-tipped arrows. There is a date window at the bottom, and the stem bears the iconic Borel logo. The words "Mod Déposé, Swiss Patent" appear at the bottom of the face. The numbers "55006 44" and "288868" are imprinted on the steel back. The watch case itself is a gold-tone metal. The case measures 35mm x 35mm. The watch has a tapered sharkskin band that will fit wrists 6-1/2" to 8". The piece is in very good working condition - it kept accurate time during our 40-hour test period, and the center kaleidoscope disk rotated the entire time. The watch crystal, face and front surfaces are clean and clear with no scratches. The back surface has a few mild scratches. Please see all photos for additional details.
