This is a lovely vintage slim profile museum-style ladies 14K gold watch by Movado. It has an ebony black onyx-color enamel face, two 14K gold hands and a gold Movado dot at the 12 o'clock position. Stamped "14K Gold" with the Movado hallmark on the back. The hallmark is also on the crown. The watch has an elegant slim profile and kept accurate time during our 24-hour test. The face measures approximately 1-3/16" in length including the brackets for the band x 1" wide from the crown to the opposite end of the case x .25" thick. The watch band is 8" long and tapers in width from 3/8" to 1/4" wide. The band is not the original band, and is stamped "Kreisler, 1/20 10KT GF." The entire piece is in very good vintage condition - the watch winds easily and kept accurate time. The face interior is easy to read. The glass crystal is clear - has soft mild scratches consistent with normal wear. There is a tiny crack in the edge of the watch face crystal. This is impossible to see without magnification and cannot be palpated (felt). Back is shiny and smooth, one scuff mark. The band clasp closes firmly and the band is long enough to accommodate large and small wrists. Wt.: 22.9 gm. Please see all photos for additional details.
