An 8mm (2.04 carat) round faceted deep blue-green/deep periwinkle Alexandrite stone is held by 4 prongs on a 14K yellow gold cathedral ring setting. The stone shifts in color from a deep blue-green to a deep periwinkle, with hints of purple. A cut-out floral pattern decorates each side of the ring. Stamped "14K". Size 8. Weight: 4.2g. The piece is in very good vintage condition. Due to the size of the specimen, it is highly likely the Alexandrite is a lab created stone (still highly valuable at this size).
