This is a late 19th century Art Nouveau 14K gold and diamond brooch. Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, this scrolling and elegant brooch is encrusted with 36 assorted rose cut diamonds that catch the light. Amidst the fixed loops are 2 dangling bezel-set diamond stones, the largest on the brooch. They measure 4 mm and 3mm respectively. Fine milgrain detail can be seen at the edges, highlighting the natural patina that has developed over time. The only hallmark is a letter "C". The piece tested as 14K gold and sterling silver. Very good antique condition - all diamonds are intact, pin fastens securely. Dimensions: 1-1/4" w x 1-3/4" long. Wt: 6.7 g. Please see all photos for additional details.
