High bid $45.00

Status: Sold

Carved wood pagoda lantern with dragon head accents can be hung by its metal loop or set on a tabletop. Hexagonal in shape, each glass panel is reverse hand painted directly onto the glass from the inside, with Asian characters on the large pieces and floral designs decorating the top smaller pieces of glass. A round metal plate sets on top of a wooden spindle inside in order to hold a candle, battery run or otherwise. Very colorful and beautiful. The lantern is in good vintage condition, with some very small spots where the paint has worn off. A small piece has come off one of the small panels on the backside but it is still secure and stable. Measures 16"H x 15"Diameter. Please see all photos for further detail.
