This antique decorative piece from Thailand is a bronze open right hand mounted on a square wood stand. The hand has a dark patina and is mounted horizontally. These Buddha hands often are associated with peace, blessings or spiritual practices. In this piece the forefinger and thumb touch lightly representing "Dhyani Mudra", the gesture of meditation and enlightenment. A flower is embossed in the palm of the hand. The wood mount measures 5.25" x 4". The hand measures 7.5" from wrist to tip of middle fingers. There are very small marks on the edge of the stand and a small chip at the base of the index finger. This piece is in very good vintage condition. Please view all photos for more details.
