This dining set was custom made of rosewood in Thailand, and has a beautiful grain running through each piece. The table can be adjusted up to a grand length of 97" allowing 3 chairs on each side and one on either end for dinner parties, or reduced to 78" for every day. Though only 1-2 leaves are used, this set comes with an extra, for a total of 3. This set includes a table with three leaves, 2 armchairs, and 8 dining chairs, all upholstered in a colorful satin material with dark green, chocolate, and cranberry coloring. The turned legs and carved chair backs are done in an elegant Queen Anne style, though each piece is sturdy from the heavy, hard wood used. Rosewood is a dense and durable hardwood known for its striking grain patterns. It is highly valued for its natural luster and is often used in the construction of high end furniture pieces. This pieces are in good vintage condition, with slight surface wear on the table from use, and a small surface crack. There are several minor stains on the chair pads as shown in photos, and one chair has split across the back seat, though no parts move. Please see all photos for further detail.
