Exquisite vintage Japanese Geisha doll in a kimono holding a hand drum posed on a black wooden stand and encased in a clear acrylic case with black lid. From the top of the exquisite hair accessories down, extreme detail is given to the doll's attire. The kimono is made with beautiful patterned cloth in bright orange wrapped in a navy obiage covered in gold, rust and yellow florals and red and cream obi ties. The undergarment, or juban, is a cream fabric covered in metallic gold, orange, purple and green flowers. The doll is made of bisque and is signed on her back with Japanese characters. Many beautiful details to view from every angle. The doll is in great condition, and the acrylic holder has some light surface scratches. Please see all photos for further detail.
