Substantial vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet featuring exceptional hand-cut overlay work with stylized bird, sunburst, and geometric motifs. The deeply oxidized and finely textured recessed areas create dramatic contrast against the polished sterling silver surface. This bold design and traditional overlay construction are strongly associated with Hopi silverwork. Recently polished, the bracelet has a solid 34-gram weight and displays beautifully as a distinctive piece of Southwestern artisan jewelry. Weight: 34 grams Measures: 2.5" across the interior at the center × 1" wide; cuff opening measures approximately 1.25" Hallmarks: Hallmarked “VB” and tested as sterling silver. Several Southwestern silversmiths have used the initials VB, and the specific artist has not been conclusively identified. Condition: Very good vintage condition with light surface wear, interior scratching, and minor remaining patina consistent with age and use. Recently polished.
